I am Akrem Ziani, founder of Vocalype. I am building an AI desktop voice assistant for dictation and post-call workflows.
The product started from a simple observation: people can explain ideas, calls, and next steps out loud much faster than they can write them. But after the conversation, they still need clean notes, summaries, CRM updates, follow-ups, emails, and messages.
That gap is the work Vocalype is built for.
Transcription is only the first step
Raw transcription captures words. Work needs more than words. It needs structure, intent, formatting, and output that can actually be used.
That is why I am focused on the workflow after speech: what the spoken input should become, where it should go, and how fast it can be turned into useful text.
Why this matters to me
Before Vocalype, I built websites for local businesses, then built Lazo Growth, a digital marketing agency where I recruited and trained a 25-student cold-calling team. We made over 600 cold calls and closed our first $500 client.
That experience taught me how much work happens around conversations. Calls are not just calls. They create notes, follow-ups, updates, and context that people have to write later.
What I am building now
I built Vocalype's desktop app, transcription pipeline, cloud/local routing, account system, billing flow, and feedback workflows. The goal is to keep improving it around real usage, not just demos.
